Dr. Young Jee
Dr. Jee obtained his education from the following places: the University of Chicago (BS and BA in Biochemistry and Chemistry), the University of Pennsylvania (Masters in Biotechnology), and the University of Wisconsin (Doctor of Medicine, MD). Subsequently, he received residency training at Beaumont Health in Michigan, and adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship training at the world-renowned University of Western Ontario in Canada under the guidance of Drs. Steven MacDonald, Emil Schemitsch, Douglas Naudie, and James Howard. From these experiences, Dr. Jee gained a unique set of knowledge and skills in modern technology and evidence-based practice that he hopes to bring to his community.
Dr. Jee believes in patient education and effective communication. He hopes to partner with each patient to bring better health and well-being. You will often find him in social outreach programs, on social media, and in clinics and hospitals tirelessly working to educate and treat each patient in a passionate and caring manner.
Aside from medicine, he loves spending time with his family including his wife who also works in medicine, their daughter, and two dogs. He also loves working out at the wee hours of the morning and traveling the world when he can spare his time.
